Hey everyone! I’m new to the site and it looks great. My 2005 is quickly nearing the time for the first tire change. What tires do you prefer for the road? What tires do you prefer for the track?

Pilot powers are great for street and track days.

Had diablo corsa's and chewed through them real quick.

im running the pilot powers i won from the raffle... my only experience with tires is stock dunlops and the pilot powers. the PP work well. not as SUPERDUPERFANTANSTIC like everyone raves about but they are better then stock

I don't know...My powers have stuck through turns where the stock dunlops get loose. It may not FEEL like they are as sticky as other tires(as I have heard you can feel the Corsa's stick) but trust me. They are a hell of a tire all around, from traction to wear and tear.

I only got about 1900 Km's from my corsa's and so far I have about 1700 km's Includind 2 dry track days + 1 wet track day and they are holding together , They dont seam to Tear up as much.

i have never ridden on Pilot powers, but i loved my M1's

Im with shorty on this one, I ride with m1's. Im getting sweet mileage out of them and they stick really well ! Never oad with powers but love the m1's anyways, plus they are cheaper. I hated the stock dunlops, they just dont grip as well as the m1s do.

I had supercorsas on my R6 and they made me feel confident on the street when I was agressive (sticky as hell). But I have pilots on my R1 and I cant complain about them at all.

I like the diablo corsas myself. I see no need to try the powers.
