The frame and exhaust heat from my R1 is..... intense.
Anyone else feel like fried chicken after a long ride? Mostly in stop and go congestion.

Think it's prolly just you bro, must be doing something wrong. Try wearing shorts instead of jeans and flip flops instead of boots, might help.

Yeah, I had the same problem, when it was cold I loved it but when it got hot it was very uncomfortable. Have you noticed the seat get hot too? If you wear a track suit you won't notice it.

Yes i have the same heat problem and i wear full leathers, cold weather no problem but now the days are getting hotter so is my right thigh. So next mod is gutting the two cats.
Uksparky,
Did you gut your cats? If so, how much of a heat reduction did you notice?
Thanks

I also get very warm legs when it's a hot day, do you think this heat generated affects the atmospheric Temp gage? Isn’t that down around there somewhere?

yup, I will try to dig up the link, one of them is about 450 bucks, however the bends reduce some of the flow to exhaust as well as horsepower, it also uses up your tool/underseat area as well, but is sposed to have decent tone
:D
here is link, at 58 cycle, they have some other great deals on twin slipon underseat too I think, just look
