....ducati!
After long and hard nights of debating, losing sleep and what not. I have come to the decision that I will be selling my 07 R1.
I will be picking up a 749 when the R1 is gone.
Why you ask? The bike is brand new! You surely must be insane!
Yea....I am. Well, let me say something that is well known, and I didn't believe until I actually owned my very own R1. "It is more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than it is to ride a fast bike slow" I think that is the saying, but you all get the concept. I actually miss my R6 a lot, I miss not having to worry about giving it too much gas in a corner, I miss the lightness of the R6, the flickability of the R6.
I have been spoiled guys. I rode a 749 and it blew my pants off! That v-twin sound and power delivery is just....wow. This thing handles like a dream as does it ride too. I don't want a 999 because I don't want to worry about the power and what not and want a bike that I can ride hard without worrying about giving it too much gas.
I feel that my R1 is missing something. Missing a soul so to speak if that is the right word to use.
You may think I am insane....but, I am not. Take a ducati for a ride and you will see what I mean.
