Hi there.
Finally made the jump over from a ZX9R to the R1. It is awesome and handles amazingly. After a couple of months I decided to take this bike onto a track day (Donnington) and had a great time...until the afternoon session where I missed a corner and went through the gravel.

Right-hand side fairings are damaged ie scratched and snapped a little of the top front fairing. My question is...where can I find R1 replacement fairings with a colour match in the UK as I want to get my pride 'n' joy back on the road looking good again ?

Anyone know of somewhere to get the fairings and any good/bad experiences ?

Thanks - MonkeyBoy

First of all, welcome to the site.:beermug

not sure about the UK, but eBay may be your best bet for cheaper fairings. If youare going to do more track days, you'd be better off getting an extra set of race fairings so you don't have to worry about your OEM fairings.

Good luck and post some pictures.

If you purchased an '07, they may be hard to come by at first, but give it a couple months. Parts will start to float on eBay soon.

I "might" have an 07 with red black fairings. Just so happens that it landed on the left side and the right is OK.
