I got hit from behind by another bike while stopped and suffered a broken leg. I can't give too much detail other than that.

Accident happened in the beginning of janurary.

My bet is they will fix her up. Value of an '07 is pretty high. Only unknown is if they consider a damaged swingarm part of the "frame". usually any damage to the frame is an instant write off.

You said "she" was on a bike and hit you from behind. Can you give us details and make this a learning experience for us all? What happened and what could you have done?

There was nothing I could have done as I just avoided another accident and ended up getting hit from behind by another bike. I will give you a link where you can learn what happened.

If the insurance totals it you will get 100% of your money that you payed for it plus the cost of your helmet. The total price for repairs has to equal 70% or more before they total it. Being in the first 3 months is why you will get full payment for the bike.
