OK.

The Lazy way to Change "spark plugs"

1st : Ride bike to shop.

2nd : Tell the service manager what you want done.

3rd : walk around bike shop, looking at all the things you can't afford.

4th: Pay for the work.

5th: Ride Home and have a couple of :beermug :beermug

:lol

pretty easy to do... however my bike is brand new and i dont plan on busting my knuckles on it for a while.

just raise the tank/take it off... remove airbox elements and heat shield... and then u should have access to them better.

How about adjusting clutch cable correctly.

FYI, i swapped spark plugs on my friends 04' today. you DO NOT take the tank off to reach the plugs. you can but it will just piss you of to have to put all that shit back on ... i know i was!

take the mid fairing off and remove the three bolts that hold the radiator in place. you don't have to remove the radiator, it can just hang there. you can access the plugs from there. took about 20mins total.

^ Dude I have no idea how the fuck you did that in 20min, I just did it on my 04 and the shit took me 2hours! I could not reach #3 so I had to take the tank off to be able to pull the freaking coil out. You must have incredibly strong midget hands to be able to get in there and pull hard enough to get them out. Unless you have some trick to pulling them out I don't know about.

Wow was that ever a Pain in the ass!

Just got a full termi system on ebay for my 05 R1, what a pain in the ass to fit! Got it mounted but the mounting point on the collector & the Y pipe wont line up. Got an alloy mounting hanger in the box, which mounting point does that go on? Any help much appreciated, wanna get it back together & RIDE! Thanks.
