Whats up everyone.
Im a new memeber, and I have a couple of Question
I am fixing to buy an 07 R1, what do I need to expect going to a 1000 from a 600. I have been riding 600 for the past 3 years. Bike such as; Triumph daytona 600, that was stolen. and my current bike 05 R6. any input would be great full..
Thank you

I rode 600's for 3 years before stepping up. I have no Idea what took me so long. I LOVE my R1. It by far is the funnest bike I have ever ridden. I just had to get used to riding in lower rpm's. When your at full acceleration the front end carries to about 130 or so. Just get used to the front tire jumping at higher rpm when you decide to get on it. . I did my first mile wheelie today....for my mom. I did a full speed fly by, then at a red light she said..." well, stand it up already. " With that motivation, I didn't want to set it down. I have found my new adrenaline fountain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Edit: Oh......Welcome!

I, like sean, don't know why I waited so long to get a liter bike either. I've had a cbr 600 f1, a 99 r6, and an 06 r6. All were fun bikes, but NOTHING like the fun on an R1. The handling is good for me too, being a big guy, I think I was just too big for the 600's.
