I am a regular track groupie,and usually in garages 38-40, look for the blue R1 with plates MOF.00 ! I am based in Wellington, and have not long had my R1. I used to have (a few years back now) an FZR1000B so the move to the R1 just seems natural. Its only a 98 but the price was right. I hope I'll be able to pick up a few pearls of wisdom on what goes right and what goes wrong with them through this site. Unlike other Kiwi, I'm not about slinging shit across the Tasman, as far as I am concerned, we're all mad bikers on quality Yamaha products.
