After waiting for 2 weeks, i finally received my Woodcraft Engine Cover (black with aluminum skid pad)
question... if i remove the stock case cover... will it be really messy as oil comes out?

Very much so. You will want to change the covers when you do an oil change. Drain the oil, yank the covers, clean, install new covers, fill oil, go ride!
Now, post up some pictures!

Where did you get the black cover. I can't find anything but silver (aluminum).
Thanks.

if that doens't work, try this.
this is the email i received from her:
I have yet another issue with your order, however there is a solution also! Our engine covers are so popular we are stocking out faster than we can make them! I over allocated the right side R1 cover in black. We have a distributor in NY who has it available. Please contact them directly 800-326-5487 Street & Competition X 203 Greg, and he will take care of you. I will ship the requested skid plate (no extra freight charge) with appropriate hardware from our location for they do not have it. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. They have just two in stock so please call today or Monday. I will cancel your order after you reply that your purchase has been completed. Best regards,

no problem. did they have them in stock?? i got lucky and got the 2nd to last one. :thumbup
nevermind getting the cover for the left side, if you already have sliders. i hear it never touches if you go down. only the right side, you gotta worry about.
