Yo, dudes.

I've been hangin' around the R6 Messagenet all winter waiting for my 2006 R6, but after waiting for what seems like too long for my dealership (where I work!) to get even one of those bikes, I'm now contemplating just buying a 2006 R1 in the black color (Oops! Raven) that we have in stock to satisfy my need-a-new-sportbike urge.

(This also means that I may be soon selling the brand-new-and-never-opened 520 conversion chain and sprockets that were to go on the R6.
It's a pair of Renthal 15T/47T sprockets with a top-of-the-line DID 520 ERV3 X-ring gold chain.
Also have a new front sprocket nut.)

So, time-honored question time:
I've owned both 1998 and 2002 R1s in the past.
I read that the 2004-2006 YZF-R1 is geared very tall.
What ratio (number of teeth on sprockets) do most of the riders that lower their gearing with these bikes end up using?

Intended usage is sport riding.

mine felt great at the track this weekend with stock gearing. enough torque and power to pull me around Barber in 4th all day if I was just moving along at a spirited pace. In fact, when I go to a 520 set-up, I'll keep it stock gearing.
