Vortex Fairing Stay Brackets are a lightweight, inexpensive and crash-worthy replacement for your bike’s OEM instrument bracket. Unlike most OEM stays, which are cast aluminum, Vortex brackets are made from stamped aluminum sheets and precision bent aluminum that’s welded together. By virtue of these construction techniques, Vortex stays are more likely to bend, rather than completely shatter, in the event of a crash. Often, they’re lighter than stock too – ˝lbs less in the case of our 2009 YZF-R1.

Currently, these are available only for 2009 and 2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 models.
