So, anyone have a good idea of how to affix a tank bag? I have a padded one with straps I used on an old bike, but since I've never seen an R1 up close, I have no idea how it will hook up.
Is it a no brainer?

i know they make tank bras for the R1 and im pretty sure it just requires lifting the tank to secure them... i could be wrong tho.

wear a back pack. tank bags and sport bikes are like guys and fat chicks...they just dont' mix well.

Tank bags are pretty convenient on long trips, actually. If you get one, try to get one with magnets, not straps, but make sure the magnets are strong. A bag with straps is a pain in the ass.

i saw one at my yami dealer today that straps to the handle on the passenger seat and hangs down really neatly right behind your ass. I liked it better than a tank bag as it doesnt get in the way of tucking in at high speed or while leaned over in a corner.
