I've been running 33/33 but even that seems a bit stiff for the street, I've gotten suggestions from another board but alas I come to the mn for it's worldly and reliable knowledege:D
On a side note, I really wish this site would be the major go to point for the R1 enthusiasts like the R6mn is, I really hate going to the other sites after being exposed to the great people around here:worship

it will all vary on the type of tires you run. if it is stock, just use the psi on the swingarm.
Just for normal street riding you should be up around 36-38
If you ride hard through mountains and twisties you should be around 32-34
On the track I run with 30.

Thanks guys,
Maybe I need to adjust the dampning on the front end some more-it just doesn't feel planted-hops alot on turn-in. I took the pre load one notch down from stock and it didn't help much so I was beginning to think I needed to lower my psi.
Coming from my 51 I would run 10-12 psi lower than what the manual said and it was spot on for the street, I guess I was expecting the same from this bike:myfault

is that 33/33 hot or cold? If cold, then the pressure gets higher as the tires warm up causing front end chatter. Me personally, I run 28/30 cold at the track. No street riding for me.

Both cold, I've tried lowering both pre-load and damping and still the front end has a quite a bit of chatter-the front tire just kind of ships along on turn in:umm

got me dude. I would check the suspension settings, as you have mentioned, and if that doesn't do it, then I'm lost.
