Well I had my first real a$$ puckering moment on the R1 yesterday:D

Had the bike laid over nicely, knee on the ground, 3rd gear and I'm giving her a handfull:hitit . Well the pilot power on the rear has seen betterdays and she let loose.( insert a$$ puckering ) emotion :lol


I would love to say that I just kept the power on and just kept powersliding but I didn't :myfault Took me a few laps to get the confident again and get that moment out of my head.

Anyway I have a new P.P. sitting in my garage and she'll be going on the bike this week :thumbup

:lol i know the feeling mate, i had a few times where the bike has stepped out and started bucking, but i stood on the pegs and got my bum off the seat, and she straightened herself out.

i thought i was making an unexpected get off, but yes, it will make you a little less generous with the throttle the next time around.

LOL. I have a buddy I ride with who is a retired AMA flat tracker. Needless to say, he showed me a new way through the carosoul (sp?) at Carolina Motorsports Park. Freaking funny as hell to watch!
