I have newish stock R1 with about 1500 miles. I keep reading that the R1 will lift right up without clutching it. Every time I lay it on its just flat until about 20 mph. I've tried clutching at about 6-7k rpm and its still just getting light but not really lifting up.
Whats the deal?

why the obcession with wheelies? things tend to get broken when you wheelie.(if you don't know what you're doing)

begin in first gear and throttle....do not let off the throttle,(WOT) and you should have your front end begin to rise. as the wheelie yuh tug guy said, always cover your rear brake.
