The B-one project was born in the R&D Braking department, aiming at revolutionizing the fixing system of the disk onto the wheel, by improving the performances and at the same time reducing the number of components. Unifying forged elements with a special wheel, allows to avoid all non rigid connections, in order to give the system a superior rigidity level. Also, getting the weight of the wheel’s axis closer, allows a lower gyroscopic effect, thus improving its handling, stability, and entering the curves on a motorcycle. Braking wanted to give a new added value to the rotation masses, by creating a one-piece integrated group made of disk-hub & wheel, in order to decrease the inertias.
