Anyways, I'm at the light, in front... and the girl behind me. The light turns green and I feel a BAM and a sharp pain on my right calf. Crap!! I got rearended. I turn around, and see the bumper wedged between my rear tire and undertail. I'm like, what the heck!

I get off the bike and notice I cant move the bike. The car pinned my bike and as I dismount, the bike just stayed upright tilted to the right. I tell her to back up so I can move the bike over to the side of the road... she backs up and the bike falls on its right side. MY BABY, MY BABY, I thought. It's never been down before.

Anyways... I inspect the bike, damages are:
my right side peg rearset
right frame slider
right bar end
right clutch protector
right lower fairing scratched

I look at the undertail and thought it would be trashed. It looks like nothings been scratched under the tail. But I'm afraid the impact might have messed up the the alignment of the tire, swingarm ect. I cant' really tell by looking at it.

I ride home and it seems to ride ok. I need to go to the shop and get an estimate of how much its gonna cost. The chick doesn't want to go through her insurance... but i'm afraid once i give her the bill... she's gonna freak. I guess we shall see.

I guess it could have been a lot worse... but i'm a bit bummed that my baby finally went down... and it wasn't even my fault.

You think I should make sure there isn't any mechanical issues with it? Welp... that is my story. Oh the pain on my calf was my rearset peg digging into my calf during inpact. I have a big cut... I guess I'll heal. I've been through worse pain... like my burn left wrist.

I would get the biked looked over and replace as much as you can through her insurance.

Also find a good lawyer to fix you a deal for all the pain and suffering she caused you and your bike. :lol

dood wtf was that bitch smoking? holy shit man. take it to a yamaha dealership (a good one) and get everything looked at... have them make sure your swingarm is all good. take pictures of EVERYTHING. post them up for us to look at and compare with our machinery. if its been less than 24hrs you can still call the police and have them make a report i think. This would be good for future purposes man. Just in case she doesnt pay up. i've had people say there were going to pay and then just dodge me and i ended up footing the bill. now, i dont fuck around... i call the cops and get a report and immediately contact insurance. keep us informed bro...

Tetsy, I am so sad to hear that but am glad you are okay.

Just remember you owe her nothing, so your bike gets the full treatment whether she goes through her insurance or not.

total was 350.85. i didn't add in the swingarm, even if i could... cause i knew it was there before the accident. i cant live with guilt.
