Ok heres the deal. There are some issues with the graves sliders that they have recently been selling for the 2006 r1. (oh and there are instuctions on www.gravesport.com.) The long bolt goes on the right side. So i attempted to install the sliders today. I put the right hand side slider on first and tourque it to 28 ft/lbs as specified by graves. Then i notice that the puck spins freely on the bolt. I thought this couldnt be right becuz they didnt spin freely on my r6 at all. So i call graves motorsports and see whats up.

So they guys answers the phone and i tell him the deal. He says they have already researched the situation. There are a handful of r1 sliders that got sent out with the wrong size spacing washers and they are shipping out the correct size washers to anyone who has purchased sliders for the 2006 r1.

Ill try to take pics of the washer later. But it is the washer that goes between the slider and the metal insert.
