Well guys, some of you may know me as liquidr6 over on R6messagenet.com. I never really introduced myself when i joined the R6messagenet so i just though id formally introduce myself.

My first bike ever was a 2003 liquid silver r6 that i purchased in june of 2003 when i was 19 years old. I kept it for 2 years and put just over 17,000 successful miles one it before i sold it. Then i got my 05 raven r6 in march of 05. Well i put 8900 miles on it before i sold it in november (loved that bike to death) to buy the 06 r6. I was so excited about the new r6 i was just absoulutey going crazy waiting on it to arrive. But there was something bothering me. Was it time to move up. My dealer got 2 06 r1s in december and i just couldnt stop thinking that it was time for a change. So i guess you guys can figure out the rest of the story. lol. As of today i have a 2006 raven r1 in the garage and man am i happy with it. Although its a raven, there is just something about that first liquid r6, so now im formally known as LiquidR1.

I just thought id say hey and that im not some noob kid that ran out and bought an r1 for his first bike. btw my real name is Dusty.

i tried to post attachments already but i noticed that the picture file size has to be much smaller than what they use on the r6messagnet. so ill have to do some resizing tonight.

wassap dusty.. you'll love the r1. its no r6.. ( i mean that in a good way)... but, you will still have fun with the extra power and cheer sexy looks.

when i had my r6, i kept it stock. but now on my r1, i've put a few mods on it. i'm also a better rider, having started out on the r6. i'm glad i chose this route. enjoy buddy!

yea the extra power is awesome. Im glad i started out on the r6 and learned to respect it. It makes riding this r1 so much easier when you respect what a bike is capable of.
