Hi guys, what do you think/prefer out of the 2 bikes power delivery wise.

I've test rode an 03 and damn its got shitloads of bottom end.

My mate has got an 04 and wish he could have kept his '03 instead.

All epinions welcome! :corn

I only test rode a 03 and to me it was like Bang hang the fook on and the front wheel would not stay on the ground.:shocked


Where as the 04-05 the power delivery is very smooth, it does however take off around 10-11k rpm :D

the 02/03 R1 is no match for the new R1 on the track...
that being said, the 02/03 R1 would prolly make a better street bike...
but, you could always get a full exhaust system and drop a tooth on the new R1 and that would change the game very quickly.
