Just got the call from Anchorage Yamaha, and my new 2006 R1 is sitting in a box in the warehouse waiting to be put together... looks like i gotta skoot my race bike over and make some room in the garage.

I saw these bikes last week at the track.AMCN was at the track day I was doing and they were testing the 06 mod and also they had a LE model, Number 2 there:hitit

im real happy that they put gold forks on it this year... and also that the blue has flat black lowers that wear better... also that they painted the ram air covers on the blue as well...


i wasnt able to get the LE because they arent going to ship any to alaska...
