Anyone in Phoenix know of a store that has a good selection of gear? The dealerships around here suck when it comes to selection. Cyclegear in Mesa has a mediocre selection but they don't carry hardly any Joe Rocket stuff.

I have an ICON airframe carbon lifeform. Loved it untill I got the Shoei rf1100 now thats my favorite. Great feild of veiw tucked. The Icon gets in my upper field of veiw. Jackets I have a Icon timax textile. It is awsome for airflow and warm with the liner. Unfortunatly it's collar pushes the back of my helmet when tucked. So it causes neck pain if riding tucked alot. I got a used icon daytona leather jacket off ebay and love it. It costs alot new though but would buy it new now that I like it so much. I wear my Army boots. Wouldnt buy them for that purpose just have them already. I realy like my gloves they are from speed and strength. very breathable and comfortable. They have some big matte plastic thing over the knucles I wish I knew what they are called so I could recommend them. Point being if your considering a Shoei rf1100, or Icon daytona jacket go for it. If on a budget I would go for a non carbon airframe helmet same shape a little heavier but cooler paint. That helmet is sick at high speeds buffeting is less than the rf1100 at 100MPH+. But you will see the top alot when tucked.

Stuff worked great, totaled the 09 R1 doining arond 150. Was in a coma for 4 days. Am non weightbearing for a month. "wheelchair". I dont have a tinge of roadrash. My helmet worked awsome, no head or neck pain. Looking for another one cause it looked so cool. Was wearing icon riding pants, held up great. To be honest only reason I need a neew jacket and pants is cause the emts cut me out of them. They held up well. My biggest mistake other than drivining like a total idiot that day was wearimg my army desert combat issue boots. I had these Icon ones I just ordered chilling at home and they make your ankles feel like they are a single rigid unit. Both mine are broke now. I bet those would have saved them. I have a metal pole for a femure and the fused together 2 of my back vertebre. They kept me in a coma for 4 days afterwards. Noone can beleive how minor I am hurt after the 150 MPH crash. The day this happened I mounted a Hero camera, I tell you it made me not think straight. I look forward to riding again next season with no peer pressure from a camera LOL. Any piece of saftey equipment you wear is better than nothing and in somecases has amazing abilitys. Keep it rubber down, wear your stuff you got and be safe. :)
