Installing GYT-R exhaust on my '05 R1. On the right side where you put the slip-on on the Y-pipe there is a small exhaust leak where you tighten down the clamp. I've installed everything as close as I can tell by the directions. I've removed it and put it back on again. It's as far down on the Y-pipe as I can get it. The leak is right at the bolt on the clamp. I can feel it blowing a little when I start the motor. What am I doing wrong and who can I fix it? Also... if I just leave it... will it hurt anything? I can't hear it. Thanks for any input!

You could try to create a seal with some high temp silicone, but as long as it's small it prob won't even leak running the bike at higher rpm, and no it won't hurt anything.

Take it for ride for about 15- 20 mins, it may " heat up and bed in ", It just sounds like a small thing were it hasn't seated in properly.

Thanks guys! :) I'm not gonna worry too much about it. When I give it some gas it goes away... so I'll ride it for a while and put a few heat cycles in it and check the tightness of the bolts and call it good ;)
