I've been hearing about that cast metal BS with yamaha. Good thing im using aftermarket rearsets now. Im heavy too so doing a wheelie could probably finish the stockers off.

dayum dude, glad to hear you didn't lay 'er down! When I installed my y-pipe I looked at the rearsets and thought they looked a little weak but didn't think much past that. Still waiting on my graves rearsets ( backordered of course :lol )

Could always start a class-action suit and get us 07 owners some $$$ and "new" rearsets :lol

If I was hurt in anyway...believe me..I would be all over it.

Dang! The 1st gen's had a problem with the pegs being weak too. Rearsets are so next on my list.

I asked the dealer if they are putting the same one on as before...they didn't even think that was a problem :umm So, yeah, rear sets are going on SOON.
